In-stock pieces are inspected and hand-wrapped within 1–3 business days before they ship.

We ship across the United States and to most countries, with tracking on every parcel.
Before it ships
Packed the way it was made - by hand
Every piece is inspected one last time at the workshop, folded with acid-free tissue, and wrapped in handmade lokta paper - the same bark-fibre paper Nepal has used for sacred texts for a thousand years. Garments travel flat, topis travel boxed so the crown never creases, and fragile pieces ride in double-walled cartons.
We reuse and recycle where we can: padding is shredded offcut fabric from the cutting table, not plastic. If your order is a gift, tell us at checkout - ribbon and a handwritten card are added at no charge, and no prices go in the box.

Measured from the day your shipping confirmation arrives, not the day you order. We quote the windows we actually see - and most parcels land at the early end.

During Dashain and Tihar (typically October–November) our Kathmandu workshop pauses to celebrate, and made-to-order dispatch can shift by up to a week. In-stock U.S. orders are unaffected - the New Jersey warehouse keeps shipping.

As soon as your parcel leaves our workshop, we'll email you a tracking number. You can follow your order any time on our order tracking page.
Customs, duties & taxes
International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes set by your country. These are not included at checkout and are the responsibility of the recipient. Every parcel ships with an accurate customs declaration - we're sometimes asked to mark orders as “gifts”, and we can't, but we do declare handmade goods under the correct craft codes, which many countries assess at reduced rates.
Sustainability in transit
We consolidate Kathmandu dispatches into twice-weekly freight rather than flying parcels one by one, which cuts the carbon per order by more than half. It's also why made-to-order pieces ship on set days - a small wait that we think the mountains are worth.
